Wave Dash is a fast-paced side-scrolling action game where I control a zigzagging arrow through narrow corridors, sharp spikes, and rhythmic obstacles.
The concept is easy to understand, but actually surviving the course is another story. My wave constantly moves forward, traveling diagonally up or down depending on my input. The level design relies heavily on angular shapes, tight spaces, and sudden hazards.
Music is a huge part of my experience with Wave Dash. The movement, obstacle placement, and visual transitions often follow the rhythm, so I naturally start using the soundtrack as another source of information.
I can get seriously annoyed after hitting the same corner over and over. But when I finally pass it, the feeling is great. That small success makes me want to try the next section.
Wave Dash uses bright neon shapes against dark backgrounds, giving the levels a strong arcade look. Particle effects during collisions and successful moments also make the action feel more energetic.
Controls in Wave Dash are:

Release the input to let the wave descend diagonally
I like this control system because I don't have to worry about complicated buttons. If I enjoy this kind of fast rhythm-based movement, Geometry Vibes is another game worth trying because it also rewards quick reactions and careful timing.
My biggest improvement in Wave Dash came from stopping myself from staring only at the character. I started paying closer attention to the music.
My tips:
It can be quite challenging, especially when the path becomes narrow. The controls are simple, but precise timing is essential.
Hold the mouse button, Space, or Up Arrow to move upward diagonally, then release to descend.
If I like Wave Dash, I can also explore other rhythm-based action and obstacle games such as Space Waves, Geometry Dash Spam Test, and Geometry Dash HACKED that combine neon visuals, precise movement, fast reactions, and music-synced challenges.
